By accessing or using Color Tools (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not use the Service. Color Tools is operated by XinYuMaTou and is provided free of charge to visitors worldwide. We may update these terms from time to time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Description of Service
Color Tools provides a suite of free, browser-based color manipulation utilities. These include but are not limited to a color converter for translating between HEX, RGB, and HSL color formats, an interactive color picker, a CSS gradient generator, and a color palette generator that produces complementary, analogous, triadic, and tetradic color schemes. All color calculations and tool operations run client-side in JavaScript within your web browser. The Service is provided for informational and utility purposes and is designed to be useful to web designers, developers, graphic designers, students, hobbyists, and anyone working with digital colors.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Color Tools only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its server infrastructure, or related systems through hacking, password mining, or any other means.

Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, logos, and computer code on Color Tools, including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, and arrangement of such content, is owned by XinYuMaTou or is licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The source code of the client-side color conversion and calculation utilities is part of our proprietary tool implementation and may not be copied, distributed, or used in other products without permission.
Color values themselves - the HEX codes, RGB triplets, HSL values, and gradient CSS strings generated by our tools - are standard technical representations of color information that are not subject to copyright. You are free to use any generated color value in your personal, educational, or commercial projects without attribution. The tools and the underlying source code remain our intellectual property.
User Submissions and Feedback
When you send us feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions, or other communications, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, incorporate, modify, and publish that feedback for the purpose of improving Color Tools. We are not obligated to compensate you for any suggestions, ideas, or feedback that we use in our development. We also have no obligation to respond to, implement, or acknowledge any specific suggestion or feedback submission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Color Tools is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Service, the accuracy of color conversions, the reliability of the tools, or the information, content, or materials included on the website. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
While we make every effort to ensure that color values are mathematically accurate, color representation can vary depending on your monitor, operating system, browser, color profile, and surrounding lighting conditions. Colors that appear correct on your display may appear different when printed, displayed on another device, or viewed by another user. We recommend verifying critical color values through multiple sources before using them in professional production work.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, XinYuMaTou shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Color Tools. This includes but is not limited to any loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or any other financial or commercial loss, regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid, if anything, for access to or use of the Service during the twelve-month period preceding the date of the claim. Because Color Tools is provided free of charge, in most cases our liability shall be limited to zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, and some jurisdictions limit how long an implied warranty lasts. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Third-Party Content and Services
Color Tools may display advertisements from third-party advertising partners including Google AdSense. These advertisements are provided by the respective advertisers and are not our content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or reliability of any third-party advertisements or the products or services they promote. Your interaction with any advertiser, including your participation in their promotions and your purchase of their products or services, is solely between you and that advertiser.
Our website may also include links to external resources, educational material, and other websites. These links are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Availability and Service Interruptions
We strive to keep Color Tools available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, the Service may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, server upgrades, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime, service interruption, or data unavailability. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements, operate without interruption, or be error-free.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless XinYuMaTou, its operators, developers, and partners from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from your use of and access to Color Tools, your violation of any term of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which XinYuMaTou operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Color Tools shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration association, except that to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate our intellectual property rights, we may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Terms of Service remain in full force and effect.
