What Happens When You Email Us
When you send an email to our contact address, here is what you can expect. First, you will receive an automated confirmation that your message has reached our inbox. This helps you know your message was not lost to a spam filter or other technical issue. Next, our team reviews every incoming message. Simple questions and bug reports typically receive responses within one to two business days. Complex feature requests, research inquiries, and collaboration proposals may take longer as we often need to discuss them internally before responding. We do not share your email or any information from your message with third parties, and we never add correspondents to marketing lists.

Some questions arrive regularly enough that we have prepared detailed information about them. Before emailing, you might want to check:
- Are the color tools really free? Yes, completely free. No trials, no premium tiers, no feature limitations. We are supported by advertising revenue that keeps the tools free for everyone.
- Can I use the generated colors in commercial work? Absolutely. The color values produced by our tools are standard color representations with no licensing restrictions. Use them in any project, commercial or personal.
- Will you add support for more color formats? We are actively evaluating additional formats including OKLCH, LAB, CMYK, and named CSS color libraries. If you have specific format needs, please let us know.
- Can I embed Color Tools in my website or application? Our tools are designed for direct browser use at our domain. We do not currently offer an embeddable version, but we are open to discussing partnership opportunities for educational platforms and design communities.
- Do you have an API for programmatic access? We do not currently offer a public API. Our color calculations run entirely in the browser in JavaScript, which means you can replicate any color conversion using open-source color mathematics libraries.
Response Time Expectations
We respond to most messages within one to two business days. Messages received on weekends or holidays are read on the next business day. Research inquiries, complex technical questions, and collaboration proposals sometimes require longer response times as we may need to consult with team members or prepare detailed information. If you do not receive a response within five business days, please resend your message - occasionally messages are filtered incorrectly by email providers.
